WebSphere Message Broker Consultant
Job Description: Transformatech has an opening for a WebSphere Message Broker (WMB) consultant to join our Systems Integration Practice. The candidate will service a wide customer base working in small, medium, and large enterprise in various verticals including, but not limited to Healthcare, Retail, Government, and Financial.
The WMB Consultant will be responsible for designing, development, administration, and troubleshooting of WMB solutions In addition to the following technical responsibilities, the WMB consultant is responsible to self-manage their assigned projects, communicating the status of the project to the customers IT staff and management, vendors, and internal customers. The WMB Consultant will also need to interact with and support the sales team, as well as interact with the other practice areas.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, design, develop, and administer WMB and MQ based solutions
- Assist sales team with pre-sales technical support (including presentations, demos, and proposals)
- Contributing to company social media (Blogs, Twitter, Facebook, and other marketing campaigns)
- Provide technical support to clients
- Build reusable components and knowledge base for internal use.
- Obtain and maintain current WMB and MQ certifications
Skills/Knowledge for this WMB Consultant:
- Minimum 3 years hands on experience with WMB (v7 or higher) and MQ (v6 or higher)
- Experience with multiple OS platforms including, but not limited to: Windows, Linux, AIX, Mainframe
- 3-5 years hands on design and development experience with J2EE or .NET
- WTX experience a plus
- Datapower experience a pus
- Excellent oral and written communications skills is required
- Strong interpersonal skills; must be a team player as well as work well with others
- Must be a self starter and capable of being responsible for time and task management
